Whenever a guest or a group of guests are ready to make payment, you can tap Check Out on the main ordering screen. The Check Out screen appears:
On the left you’ll find the draft receipt. It’ll show all the orders, the tax and the amount of payment due. To the right, you can select the different payment options. In the screen above the credit card option payment has been selected. The blue buttons in the payment screen are the rounded amounts of the amount due. This is what people usually tend to pay based on the amount due. By entering any amount higher than the amount due the OrderMore POS app will show a popup asking if the extra amount will be considered a tip. You can also pay less than a specified amount, for example when the check is paid through different methods of payments.
Another method of payment is Account Payment. When you tap the third payment icon from the left you’ll get the following payment view:
Within this view you can commit a payment by transferring it to a customer account. As such there will be an accounts receivable balance for the selected customer. Customers accounts, and their accounts receivable status are managed in the OrderMore Portal.
The payment screen also provides an option to email a receipt or to apply a Discount (the latter function’s availability is based on the user's role). These options can be found when tapping More Options on the right. There you’re also able to scan a QR-code to, for example, apply a discount or pay with a voucher.
Receipts can always be printed after final payment using the Print Receipt button. At that point it’s also possible to close the table using the Close Table button on the far lower right.
